Anna Rutigliano is a trial lawyer who represents clients on a range of matters involving construction and other commercial disputes. She represents general contractors and subcontractors at every phase of the dispute process, from claim development through resolution. Anna has actively participated in several arbitrations and both state and federal trials, including a number of multi-week jury trials.

Prior to joining VLMG, Anna spent the first four years of her career at an Am Law 100 firm where she focused on complex litigation, followed by four years at a boutique national construction firm focusing on construction litigation.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

  • Represented a general contractor in an arbitration hearing resulting in an eight-figure award.
  • Represented a general contractor in a two-week long bench trial involving the defense of claims and the pursuit of counterclaims.
  • Represented an individual plaintiff in a federal jury trial resulting in a substantial plaintiff’s verdict.
  • Represented a general contractor in an arbitration hearing resulting in a seven-figure award.
  • Successfully negotiated and resolved various claims on behalf of general contractor and subcontractor clients.
  • Presented oral argument to a federal judge on an affirmative summary judgment motion and obtained a favorable decision.
  • Represented a medical device client throughout multiple three-week long jury trials in both federal and state courts.
