Wajiha Rais

Associate

Wajiha Rais is an associate in VLMG’s Tysons Corner office. Wajiha focuses her practice on construction litigation and arbitration, including international arbitration.  She concentrates on complex litigation, representing design professionals, general contractors, and subcontractors across a range of public and private projects in the United States and abroad.

Wajiha has both pre-trial and trial experience as well as significant experience with motions practice, having successfully argued motions in Court. She began her legal career as an associate in a “BigLaw” firm where she had also summered. During law school, Wajiha was Articles Editor of the FIU Law Review and graduated fourth in her J.D. class. She later graduated with excellence from her LL.M. program. Having lived in several major world regions, including South Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North America, Wajiha brings an international perspective to the table.
