VLMG extends a warm welcome to recently hired associate Lindy Stevens.  Lindy joined the Tysons Corner office and focuses her practice on construction litigation and government contracts.  Lindy concentrates on complex litigation, representing design professionals, general contractors, and subcontractors across a range of public and private projects in the United States and abroad.  Lindy has extensive experience with both the discovery and pre-trial motion phases of litigation, from e-discovery and depositions through dispositive motions practice.

Prior to joining VLMG, Lindy clerked for the Honorable Jane Marum Roush of the Supreme Court of Virginia.  During law school, Lindy worked in the Office of the General Counsel at Washington and Lee University and served as an intern for the District of Columbia Public Defender Service.  Lindy also served as an Articles editor for the Washington and Lee Journal of Civil Rights and Social Justice.

Before law school, Lindy taught elementary school in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with Teach for America, a national organization of recent college graduates working to promote educational equity in low-income schools across the U.S.
