VLMG Welcomes a New Associate to its San Francisco Office

VLMG extends a warm welcome to recently hired associate Paolo Hermoso.  Paolo joined VLMG’s San Francisco office and focuses his practice on construction litigation arising from private and public projects. Prior to joining VLMG, Paolo was an associate at a Sacramento firm where he practiced commercial litigation and represented clients in various business-related disputes.

He received his J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law (King Hall) where he was awarded the Dean’s Merit Scholarship and the Cruz and Jeannene Reynoso Scholarship for Legal Access.

During law school, he was a member of the Moot Court Honors Board and won the school’s award for Top Oral Advocate of the Year. He was a finalist in the school’s 48th Annual Neumiller Competition and competed in the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition where he won the San Francisco regional championship. Paolo also served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Troy L. Nunley in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, and worked as a law clerk with the Office of the Attorney General, California Department of Justice Civil Law Division. Paolo also received his B.A. in Political Science from UC Davis where graduated cum laude with a minor in History.
