Maxine Barrios serves as Office Manager and Legal Assistant in VLMG’s Oakland office, where she oversees office operations and provides administrative and legal support to the firm’s attorneys and secretarial staff.
Prior to joining VLMG in 2024, Maxine spent two years as a legal assistant to a solo practitioner specializing in trust and estate law. She also brings a background in administration, having managed educational operations for one of the Bay Area’s largest sailing clubs.
Maxine earned her B.A. in Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2023.
