Henry D. Stegner

Associate

Henry is a skilled and tenacious litigator who represents clients in complex construction and commercial disputes in both state and federal courts.  He routinely advises contractors in public and private works, with particular expertise in breach of contract disputes, mechanics lien foreclosure actions, and enforcement of payment and performance bonds.  Mr. Stegner also has experience representing clients in administrative proceedings, including licensing suspension and revocation hearings before the Contractors State Licensing Board.  Mr. Stegner has extensive involvement in government contracts litigation including bid protests, terminations, and claims.  In addition, he has also represented clients in government investigations at the state and federal levels, and individuals facing criminal investigation and prosecution.

Before entering private practice, Mr. Stegner developed extensive experience and knowledge of judicial procedure and decision-making, serving as a judicial law clerk across a range of appellate and trial courts.  His clerkships included the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California, U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of Washington, and the Washington State Court of Appeals, Division III.

In his free time, Mr. Stegner enjoys cooking and spending time outdoors with his wife and two children.
