Timothy Moppin

Senior Counsel

Timothy Moppin has extensive experience in complex litigation matters, including commercial, construction, contracts, and trade secrets disputes . He has represented clients in litigation in state and federal courts, and before public and administrative agencies.  Over the past 33 years, Mr. Moppin has developed a reputation for the representation of clients in high exposure claims and litigation.

Although the vast majority of the litigation has been resolved through settlement or dispositive motions, Mr. Moppin has successfully tried to verdict or judgment numerous cases. He has also represented clients in appeals before the California Court of Appeal and the United States Court of Appeals. Over the years, Mr. Moppin has gained substantial experience in the use of alternative dispute resolution, including various forms of arbitration and mediation. Indeed,  Mr. Moppin has served as a mediator for the San Francisco Superior Court's Early Settlement Program.

Mr. Moppin is a member of the California State Bar and is admitted to practice before all California State courts, the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Southern and Eastern Districts of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
